There are a number of reasons why your website could be down. If it happens to you, here's what to do.
There are a number of reasons your website might go offline, including routine server maintenance, domain or DNS issues, plugin errors, or problems with the hosting environment. Most of the time, these issues are temporary and can be resolved quickly.
Before assuming something is broken, try a few simple checks:
-
Refresh the page or try accessing the site from a different device or browser.
-
Check your internet connection to rule out a local issue.
-
Visit our server status page to see if we’re experiencing an outage:
If the server appears online but your site still isn’t loading, or if you see a specific error message, the next step is to submit a support ticket so we can investigate. Please allow 48 hours for us to reply.
When submitting your ticket, include the URL of your website and a short description of what you're seeing (for example: “site is blank,” “404 error,” “server not responding,” etc.). If possible, let us know when the issue started.
We’ll look into it and work to bring your site back online as quickly as possible. If it’s something on our end, we’ll resolve it. If it’s related to your domain or a third-party service, we’ll walk you through what to do next.
