This article provides step-by-step instructions for checking in and checking out guests using the Indio platform. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth process for both staff and guests.
- Navigating to the Guest Check-In and Check-Out Section
- Login
 Use your credentials to access the dashboard.
- Navigate to the Front Desk
 From the main menu, click on Front Desk.
- Access the Reservations Tab
 Use the List View, Chart View, or Map View to locate the guest’s reservation.

- Checking In a Guest
- Locate the Reservation
 Use filters (e.g. Arriving Today) or search for the guest’s name or reservation number.
- Open the Reservation Drawer
 Click the guest’s name or confirmation number to view the reservation details.
- Verify the Reservation Details
 Confirm the assigned site, arrival date, and any special instructions.
- Check the Guest in
 - Click Check-In in the action menu
- Update any necessary details, such as vehicle information or payment.
 
- Click Check-In in the action menu
- Confirm Check-In
 Once all information is verified, click Check-In.
 
- Locate the Reservation

 - Locate the Reservation
 Navigate to Departing filter or search for the guest’s name.
- Open the Reservation Drawer
 Click the guest’s name or confirmation number to view the details.
- Review Outstanding Balances
 Ensure all charges are paid and address any pending issues.
- Check the Guest Out
- Click Check Out in the action menu.
- Confirm details and the final Check Out
 
- Click Check Out in the action menu.
- Update Site Status
 The system will mark the site as available for the next booking.
